The fourth grade has just completed an in-depth study of a science unit about weather.

| During this unit the students studied the atmosphere and its layers. They also learned about cold, warm, and stationary fronts. | ![]() |

| The fourth grade has also learned about the tools that predict the weather. They have learned to predict weather just by looking at the clouds. | ||||||||||||||||||||

| As a project, the students researched weather situations, like hurricanes, ice storms, hail storms, tornadoes, etc., on the internet and completed a power point presentation in computer class. | ||||||||||||||||||||

| The unit ended with a visit from WLKY meteorologist Matt Milosevich. | ||||||||||||||||||||
